About


Central Coast Meals on Wheels has a four week cycle menu which changes seasonally and includes over eighty varieties of meals.

We can cater for special diets and multicultural meals. For food safety reasons all meals are delivered frozen. Hot meals will be provided based on assessment by our Client Services Officer.

All meals provided are supplied by ‘Food Safety’ approved contracted food suppliers. A certified nutritionist audits the nutritional standards of the supplied meals. Both Central Coast Meals on Wheels and their suppliers have quality assurance programs to ensure the delivery of high quality products to our customers.

Central Coast Meals on Wheels is managed by paid staff overseen by a community based volunteer management board.

Community Restaurants

 

Community Restaurants provide social support and respite for carers.

 

The Restaurants offers morning tea, hot lunch, dessert and beverages plus social activities and entertainment.

 

Transport can be provided by Community Transport, buses are wheelchair friendly.

 

We operate 5 Community Restaurants across the Central Coast for bookings or enquiries call  4357 8423 or 0427 026229.

Bateau Bay: Tuesday and Thursday

Umina: Tuesday

San Remo: Wednesday 

Erina: Friday

For enquiries regarding service days and pricing please contact your local service on the above numbers as products vary across the central coast.

Payments

The preferred payment method is by direct debit from your bank account. Other payment options may be arranged if direct debit is not possible. Money is not accepted by the Volunteer deliverers.

Some personal details will be required to assess your eligibility and needs. Referrals may be made by relatives, friends, doctors, community nurses and other service providers.

Quality Meals Delivered By Caring Volunteers
