What is the Bungree Aboriginal Association Inc?

Bungree Aboriginal Association Inc, is a Central Coast (Gosford City & Wyong Shire Council Areas) Aboriginal community based organisation, which provides a wide range of services to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the Central Coast

How Does The Organisation Operate?

The Association is managed by a community based Governing Committee which is elected annually by members. The Associationís membership is gained through nomination from 2 existing members of the Association, with new members proven experience &/or qualifications and commitment to the provision of services to the Central Coast Community. There are regular meetings to keep members informed of what is happening within the Association throughout the Central Coast. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Association please contact the office for further information on 4397 7700. The daily service delivery and operations of Bungree Aboriginal Association Inc are conducted by paid staff.

How do I obtain Assistance?

If you would like assistance or further information please contact the Education and Information Officer on 4397 7700. The Co-ordinator of the relevant program will arrange to visit you (normally within your home) to assess your needs.

If the service are unable to assist you, the relevant Co-ordinator will provide you with information on other network service providers that may be able to meet your needs. The Co-ordinator can also arrange a referral to be completed for another service.

What If I Am Not Happy With The Services Provided?

We aim to provide a high quality service to the client and members of the community; therefore we encourage any concerns that you may have regarding any of the services in which you may be receiving. If anytime a client feels uncomfortable discussing any concerns they may have with the Co-ordinator please contact the office and we will arrange another staff member for you to talk to.

What Are My Responsibilities

A client should respect the rights and dignity of other clients and staff of Bungree Aboriginal Association Inc.

Clients will need to take responsibility for the results of any decisions that they may make.

Clients are to be involved in helping us to provide you with the best possible services.

The client will need to ensure that they inform the relevant service co-ordinator of any changes in their needs to ensure that the service you are receiving is adequate.
