NSW Meals on Wheels Association Inc. provides membership support to more than 220 Meals on Wheels / Food services. Meals on Wheels services are operated by a combined staff and volunteer workforce delivering meals to frail, aged people; people with a disability; and their carers.
We are largely funded by both Federal and State governments.
Meals on Wheels services do more than just deliver meals. Often a Meals on Wheels volunteer is the only person a client may see on a daily basis. Our volunteers provide meals, social contact and monitor a client’s general health and wellbeing.
